To maintain your Pod operating at its best and within warranty, we suggest the use of the maintenance insert. Before shipping to your home, your Pod was already pre-conditioned with a treatment that includes the maintenance solution, to ensure optimal performance for the next 6-8 months. There is no need to remove the current insert, adjust it, or add any other liquids other than water into the tank. Within 6-8 months of installation, you will receive your first delivery of a new maintenance insert and instructions on installing it.
