He brings expertise in sensors, algorithms and system design from previous work in medical technology as well as from a PhD in micro-electromechanical systems. At Eight Sleep he works to build smarter, more accurate products to improve health through better sleep.
Brian is an R&D Sensors Architect at Eight Sleep with over 10 years of experience in wearables and non-contact vital sensors. He is committed to refining sensor technology and algorithms to deliver high-quality and actionable data for everyone.
Nicole is the Director of Science & Clinical Research at Eight Sleep, and comes from previous wearable companies like Fitbit & WHOOP. She has a Ph.D. in Physiology, and has been doing research in thermoregulation, exercise, & cardiovascular physiology for 10+ years. Nicole is passionate about working on technology that empowers people to live a healthier life.
David He is the VP of Research & Development at Eight Sleep. Previously, David was the Head of Health Monitoring Devices at Verily Life Sciences, where he led bio-sensing projects including Alphabet’s first FDA-cleared wearable. Before Verily, David was the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Quanttus, a startup that worked on a blood pressure sensing wearable. David was recognized as one of MIT Technology Review's 35 Innovators Under 35 in 2014 and Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Healthcare in 2015.
